40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
I'll answer that later.

Oh Bugger.

Eeek! Nanna is ill and cannot go to lunch with Heidi and Mark - that ALMOST meant they were not going out. I'm doing dinner today and had planned everything. If they hadn't gone, it would have been a disaster. (And no, I'm not exaggerating! Imagine dinner shared with morons from outer space!)

Dad is pretty unwell too and is back in bed. Hope he soon is better.

On a better subject, Mickey is possuming at my feet! I have a fluffy footwarmer (and he's lovely)
That's the mickey -moomin!

For dinner I'm doing salad with potato wedges and rice with peas. Sounds too much starch and all that, but it's a help yourself thing - you can mix the stuffs as you wish. Easier than dishing onto plates - I hate that as I never know how much or little to add.

Heidi and Mark bought a digital camera with christmas vouchers and money, I'd shown Mark where to get 1gb memory for £4 - he bought the same in Boots for £18. Ah well. If it makes him happy?! (fool)

I'm being bitchy so shall disappear back to my cauldron now!

x
(Vain cat!)

it's for every person who has touched your life
in a significant way and for every person
your life will touch the same way five minutes from now,

First Entry

Well, I usually make a new journal each year, starting afresh - brushing the bad and cobwebs from the year and smiling at the good which has happened.

Last year was incredibly good. There have been a few less good times but they are overshadowed by happy.

This is my engagement ring - I got engaged in the Mumbles area by Swansea, in the rain in a car park which overlooked the sea. It was absolutely beautiful despite the weather! I have found somebody who cares and doesn't mind if I am a grouch and puts up with the mood swings and bipolar days. This has made me happier than I can put into words.

(Picture of Rhossilli bay - which I hope to return to as soon as I physically can. I don't care if it's cold and wet, it's beautiful.)

I shall end here for today and hope to write more soon.
